We built a wall behind the existing walls that required drilling into basalt to get to necessary depth and using galvanised steel universal columns to support the sleeper retaining walls. This redgum retaining wall in Harkaway, east of Melbourne had been damaged during a storm induced tree fall, and also a couple of other posts were leaning due to an insufficient concrete base. We took down parts of the wall and replaced 3 posts with significantly stronger bases. [nggallery id=6]
